HOW TO BOOK YOUR DATE: First, confirm we are available on your wedding date and time by emailing us or call (336) 314-0503 or (336) 314-5652 (email is best). Then print, read, sign, and send us this OFFICIANT/MINISTER CONTRACT and your retainer fee. The retainer amount varies according to the wedding package you want, so look at the top of your package webpage for that amount. We accept the following forms of payment:

This retainer is deducted from your total and is non-refundable. If your ceremony is cancelled or rescheduled, it can be used as a credit with us within 5 years from cancellation date. The total balance is due before your ceremony on your wedding date. Of course, payment in full is also acceptable.

SEVEN DAYS HOLD POLICY: We will hold your date and time for seven (7) days while waiting for your retainer contract to arrive. If you do not call or email us to get a confirmed extension beyond those 7 days, we will release your date to other couples on the 8th day.

TRAVEL FEES: NO TRAVEL FEE for Ocean Isle Beach NC, Sunset Beach NC, Cherry Grove SC, North Myrtle Beach, SC. FYI: These are some of the BEST locations for weddings--highly recommend those 4! Otherwise, we travel when we can as follows...

Below are round-trip fee for each trip to ceremony (and to rehearsal, if applies):

• Holden Beach NC, Oak Island NC, Southport NC, Caswell Beach NC = $25
  
• Wilmington NC, Wrightsville Beach NC, Myrtle Beach areas SC, Surfside SC, Garden City SC = $50 (a 2-3 hours roundtrip for us)
  
• Carolina Beach NC, Kure Beach NC, Topsail NC, Murrells Inlet SC, Huntington State Park = $100 (a 3-4 hours roundtrip for us)
  
• Surf City NC, North Topsail NC, Emerald Isle NC, Litchfield SC, Pawley's Island Sc, Georgetown SC = $200 (a 4-5 hours roundtrip for us)

NEXT STEPS AFTER CONTRACT & RETAINER: Once those arrive, we countersign the contract, mark retainer paid, and scan/email a copy to you, along with more next-steps instructions and 20+ vows choices, suggestions, etc. ALSO, you’ll get another email from us to book our required phone call appointment (about 1 month ahead of wedding) to customize your vows, cover legal aspects, timing, rings, questions, decisions, details, and so forth.

RAIN: We do not provide rain back-up locations. That is the couple’s responsibility to have one for an outdoor wedding (but we can help with ideas sometimes). Rain is rarely a problem in this geographical location; see our Beach Tips web page!

SPECIAL SUPPLIES: The couple is responsible for supplying the following ceremonial items IF you choose these particular ceremonies: Gift Roses or Gift Seashells, Wedding Broom, goblets/chalices & drink, Bread, Jewish glass to break, Unity Candles, seedling tree, cords for Handfasting, or the ritual items and gifts for the Shaman Wedding. We will supply all other items including Sand ceremony items.

TIME: Total time for ceremony is 10-45 minutes depending on which ceremony, photography, number and ages of guests, how far down the beach you want to go, the weather, parking issues, and other factors. Just the speaking part of the ceremony averages 5-10 minutes.

ALL LIFESTYLES WARMLY WELCOME: Gay couples, multi-racial, non-religious, pregnant brides, already-parents, divorced, and live-togethers are all welcome. Any music, any dress code, anything else that makes YOUR wedding more yours, is certainly welcome. If you wish, you are welcome to talk to us about it first too.
